The benefits of our Homeowners Association

One of the best things about living in Solera at Stallion Mountain is you can relax knowing your community will keep on looking as beautiful as the day you first saw it. That's because your Homeowners Association (HOA) dues help pay for maintaining all of your community's common areas and amenities. Not only does that help protect your property values, it ensures you'll always be proud to call Solera at Stallion Mountain your home.

  • $1,200  yearly per household; collected monthly

How is the governing board structured?
All residents, 7 members= President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and 3 directors

What committees contribute to the governing board? 
Architectural Review, Budget & Finance, Lifestyle, P&G, Welcome

Who operates the golf course?  
Tartan Golf Management group from Ohio

Does the HOA survey residents to find out about new interests?
Yes but I believe it’s only on the website or through comment cards

Are all the community activities included in the fees?
Most, unless a private instructor is hired or a special party requiring items to be brought or a small contribution for food

Does the HOA have a reserve fund?
Yes. Reserve funds are maintained for future repair and replacement of assets that the HOA has long-term responsibility for, and are essential to a successful community. Reserves do not fund everyday expenses or more routine needs; the operating fund serves that.

How often are HOA fees increased?
They have not been increased since the day Solera opened

Does the HOA maintain all the amenities?
Yes

Does the HOA have a community newsletter or intranet site for residents?
Yes, both

Is there a process in place to get a new club chartered?
Nothing formal besides presenting to lifestyle committee

What are the rules for visiting grandchildren? 
Under the age of 19, can visit during the day whenever they want, but staying the night only 60 nights a year.  They can also use the pool between 3-5pm for free

Are there activities for visiting grandchildren?
No
